YASH

IT's that time again! YASH TIME!

I'm so excited to be on the BLUE team this round and this time I get the honor of featuring
TARA LYNN CHILDS!

But first this is how you play:
Directions: Below, you'll notice that I've listed my favorite number. Collect all the favorite numbers from all the authors on the blue team, and then add them up (don't worry, you can use a calculator!).

Entry Form: Once you've added up all the numbers, make sure you fill out the form here to officially qualify for the grand prize. Only entries that have the correct number will qualify.

Rules: Open internationally, anyone below the age of 18 should have a parent or guardian's permission to enter. To be eligible for the grand prize, you must submit the completed entry form by Sunday October 9th, at noon Pacific Time. Entries sent without the correct number or without contact information will not be considered.

Now that you know what to do, check out Tara, an awesome author that I'm grateful to host for this fall's YASH!

Tera Lynn Childs is the RITA-award-winning young adult author of the mythology-based Oh. My. Gods. series, the Forgive My Fins mermaid romance series, the kick-butt monster-hunting Sweet Venom trilogy, and the Darkly Fae series. She also wrote the City Chicks sweet chick lit romance series and co-wrote the Hero Agenda and Creative HeArts series. Tera currently lives in Las Vegas and spends her time writing wherever she can find a comfy chair and a steady stream of caffeinated beverages.

Pretty great right? Word has it she can even hold her breath for  13  seconds longer than I can. How about that?

Slip into a world of myths, mermaids, and magic for a collection of holiday stories sure to warm the coldest heart!
Of Solstice Dreaming — Winnie Price has spent years dreaming of the magical Winter Solstice celebration in the fae realm. This is the year she will finally get to attend. But when things don’t go according to plan, will her dream still come true?
A Mythmas Carol — Christmas has never brought anything but trouble for Gretchen Sharpe. She’d rather spend the holidays hunting down mythological monsters than fighting over mashed potatoes. Can three sentimental hunts change her mind?
Snow Falling on Serfopoula — The Haloa festival is supposed to be a time of hope, but Adara Spencer hasn’t been feeling particularly hopeful. Until a surprise island snowfall brings three surprise visitors to her door with a surprise invitation.
New Year, New Mermaid — Marina Borealis knows having a crush on your best friend is the worst. Especially when he doesn’t feel the same way. Especially on New Year’s Eve. Will she spend another year unrequited, or will everything change before the shell drops?

Check out the awesome playlist she's made to go along with Myths and Mistletoe.

Author's Note: The four stories of Myths and Mistletoe take place across four winter holidays (Winter Solstice, Christmas, Haloa, and New Year's Eve), so each has a slightly different feel. In groups of three, the songs on this playlist correspond to different stories. So whether you're looking to enhance the atmosphere as you read the collection or you want to recreate and remember the experience later, these twelve songs will keep you in the Myths and Mistletoe mood.
